10) ONLINE MARKETING
10.1 DoubleClick by Google
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“DoubleClick”).
DoubleClick uses cookies to serve relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or to avoid showing the same ad to a user multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can prevent multiple displays. The processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in optimally marketing our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In addition, DoubleClick may use cookie IDs to capture so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is, for example, the case when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s website with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal data.
Because of the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. We have no influence over the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you as follows: By embedding DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or have clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service during your visit, Google may associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider obtains and stores your IP address.
If you wish to opt out of this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com,
https://www.google.de/settings/ads,
noting that this setting will be deleted if you clear your cookies. Alternatively, you can inform yourself and adjust your settings regarding cookie placement via the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can configure your browser to be informed about the placement of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude cookies in certain cases or generally. Please note that if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

10.2 Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and, within the framework of Google AdWords, the conversion tracking service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). We use Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertising media (so-called Google AdWords). In relation to the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. This enables us to show you ads that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on a Google AdWords ad. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies typically lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve for personal identification. If a user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites. The information obtained with the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged for conversion tracking. However, they do not receive any information by which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your browser’s user settings. In that case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords based on our legitimate interest in optimally marketing our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the U.S.-European Data Protection Shield, which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

11) WEB ANALYTICS SERVICES
Google (Universal) Analytics
- Google Universal Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”, which ensures the anonymization of your IP address by truncation and excludes direct personal reference. Through this extension, your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or other contracting states of the European Economic Area before being transmitted to a Google server in the USA only in exceptional cases. In these exceptional cases, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to us. The IP address transmitted from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website fully. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie (including your IP address) related to your use of the website by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the U.S.-European Data Protection Shield, which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.
This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is conducted via a user-ID. When a page is first accessed, the user is assigned a unique, permanent, and anonymized ID that is set across devices. This enables interaction data from different devices and sessions to be assigned to a single user. The user-ID does not contain personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.
You may object to the collection and storage of data via the user-ID at any time with effect for the future. To do so, you must disable Google Analytics on all systems you use (e.g., in another browser or on your mobile device). This process is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising measures.
The data collected is anonymous for us and does not allow conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).
You can enable Facebook and its partners to display advertisements on and off Facebook. For this purpose, a cookie may also be stored on your computer. These processing operations are carried out solely upon explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Consent to the use of the Facebook Pixel may only be given by users who are older than 13 years. If you are younger, please ask your legal guardians for permission.
Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the U.S.-European Data Protection Shield, which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE THE PROCESSING OF THE AFFECTED DATA. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING IS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING PROTECTIVE REASONS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING IS NECESSARY FOR THE ASSERTION, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.
